“Means-to-the End” Food Packing Event

Our “Means-to-the-End” packing events are a great way to engage your community, raise funds for sustainable farming and feed hungry people!

Volunteers come together to reach across the globe to help others desperately in need. This is a wonderful school service project or a way to create interfaith partnerships – doing good and fostering understanding within our diverse communities here at home.

Participants pack and seal individual plastic bags containing six full meals including rice, protein, vegetables and vitamin supplements. Theses bags are then shipped to areas most in need of food or to our grantee organizations. Our partner organizations are then able to nourish themselves while learning to farm organically and sustainably.

In April and May, we will packed over 75,000 meals and raised much needed funds in the D.C. area.

Stay tuned for more information on future packing events.
